Jessica Alba insists she hasn't ruled out going nude for a movie in the future, but she's not interested in stripping down just yet.

Jessica Alba may have showed off her curves in skimpy swimsuits and lacy lingerie for films such as Into The Blue and Sin City. But the 33-year-old actress has yet to go take it all off. In fact, in 2006 she sued Playboy magazine for putting an image of her on their cover because it suggested she could have appeared naked inside.

While appearing on Fox & Friends on Thursday the mother-of-two revealed she could change her mind about showing her assets, though. ‘I’m not going to say that I never will (go nude) in my life, but right now and so far it hasn’t been necessary,’ she said.

The hosts of the show, Steve Doocy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Brian Kilmeade, raised the issue of her well known refusal to go naked for her work as an actress. She was also quick to explain that a large part of the reason is not wanting to be disrespectful to her family or create an uncomfortable atmosphere at gatherings.

Frankly, it’d be awkward at Christmas if my Grandma and Grandpa saw certain things!’ she giggled, adding: ‘I don’t know, I’m old school!’

Jessica looked beautiful for her TV appearance. The Honest Company owner stunned in a fashion-forward ensemble made up of a high-waisted Birds Of Paradise themed skirt, tucked over the top of a bright blue cap-sleeved blouse. She teamed the pretty outfit with chic patent white heels and wore her brunette tresses down in a stylish blow-wave.

When asked about how she juggles her acting career, on August 22 her film Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will open, with The Honest Company and being a mother, she said she didn’t have ‘secret‘ weapon for success. ‘I have no idea, please tell me!’ she exclaimed. ‘I’m still trying to figure out how to balance everything!

I always feel like something is compromised,’ Jessica went on, before confirming that the most important thing to her is family. Jokes! Jessica and the hosts spoke jovially about how it’d be funny to mix the smoothie with something a little more adult-oriented as they sipped the delicious combination.

As long as I feel like my kids are happy and healthy… it starts there, then everything else sort of figures itself out,’ she added. The Machete Kills star also spoke about her admirable dedication to being financially independent and not relying on a man to pay her way.

My mom was very big on (the idea that) you come together as a family unit and you both provide for the family and you both parent,’ she told them. ‘It’s not just one or the other.’
